The first monkeypox case in the Chinese mainland, an imported (输入性的)one, was reported in Chongqing on Sep. 14. All the close contacts were timely (及时的)quarantined, and no more cases have been reported since. Now, as the country implements strict COVID-19 prevention and control measures, there is no need for panic over the monkeypox virus.

9月14日，重庆报告了中国大陆首例输入性猴痘病例deepbit。所有密切接触者均被及时隔离，此后无新增病例报告。目前，由于我国实施了严格的新冠肺炎防控措施，没有必要对猴痘病毒感到恐慌。

An earthquake measuring 6.5 hit Taiwan's Taitung county on Sep. 15. Then, a 6.9- magnitude (震级)earthquake hit Taiwan’s Hualien County on Sep. 16. So far, the earthquake caused buildings and a bridge to collapse and a total of 1 death and 170 injuries.

9月15日，台湾台东县发生6.5级地震deepbit。之后，9月16日，台湾花莲县又发生6.9级地震。到目前为止，地震导致建筑物和一座桥梁倒塌，共造成1人死亡，170人受伤。

The remains (遗骸)of 88 Chinese soldiers killed in the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea (抗美援朝)returned to China on Sep. 16 from the Republic of Korea.

9月16日，在抗美援朝战争中牺牲的88名中国军人遗骸从韩国运回中国deepbit。

A Y-20 military transport aircraft was escorted (护送)by two Chinese J-20 stealth (隐形的)fighter jets (战斗机). It carried the remains and belongings of the fallen (阵亡的) soldiers landed at the Taoxian international airport in Shenyang, capital of northeast China's Liaoning Province.

一架运-20军用运输机由两架歼-20隐形战斗机护航deepbit。这架载有阵亡士兵遗体和遗物的飞机降落在中国东北辽宁省省会沈阳桃仙国际机场。

On Sep. 17, American actor Brad Pitt has made his debut (出道)as a sculptor (雕塑家), in a group show at the Sara Hildén Art Museum in Tampere, Finland.

9月17日，美国演员布拉德·皮特首次以雕塑家的身份亮相，在芬兰坦佩雷的萨拉Hildén艺术博物馆举办了一场群展deepbit。

His artworks appear alongside those by the musician Nick Cave and the artist Thomas Houseago for the exhibition "We", on view until January 15, 2023.

他的作品与音乐家Nick Cave和艺术家Thomas Houseago的作品一起出现在“We”展览中deepbit。该展览将持续到2023年1月15日。
